Hi,

I am looking for a not so loud exhaust. It must be made of titanium for the weight savings but I don't want a loud one.

There are a couple of options out there, some are valved, some are single exit. But honestly, I am reaching 40 and the loud exhaust gets old very fast to me, like, every single time I get an exhaust, I end up putting the OEM back at some point.

Just wondering if there is any that is valved or quiet but made of titanium. As reference, the titanium exhaust in the Lotus Evora GT sounds pretty nice and it's not obnoxiously loud.

Thanks.

The GRP Ti exhaust I had on my Evora GT was fucking amazing; love that sound.

Interesting, another ex Evora GT owner? How do you like the Supra compared to the Evora?

I my case, I miss the stiffness of the chassis and the steering feedback, but the power delivery of the Supra MT is way more addictive plus turbo sounds.

I'm basically in the same boat; I miss how much feeling was transmitted via the Evora chassis/steering rack and the sounds it made with the GRP Ti catback, GRP 3rd cat delete, and GRP CAI. Mine was setup on 2WNR Penskes so tossing it around corners felt extra satisfying.

I enjoy the way the Supra sounds too, but not as much as the Camry Evora — I'm currently on stock DP, stock intake, and Magnaflow catback though and will be moving to a SP1R with 200 CEL catted DP and FEMTO unlock for MHD+ in the fall, as the current setup is a bit too mundane for my preference. The Supra's power delivery feels superior as the SC would feel boggy at times when coming on throttle. Parts availability/pricing and depth of track-setup knowledge are all greatly in the Supra's favor. I'm eager togain back some of what I miss the most about the Lotus with some proper track coilovers + Verklin suspension arms for the Supra to hopefully inspire some improved steering feedback.

Akrapovic is the best but very expensive

if you dont want to spend that kind of money, i recommend you check the valvetronic exhaust

I thought this was basically only the muffler that was titanium? Also Just for fun I wanted to double check and I didn't see or couldn't find it on the site at all under the Supra

I was between the Titan Motorsports one and the Vivid Racing. I ended up getting a good deal on the VR Titanium exhaust. It's not loud and a lot of people have said it's not loud enough, which is perfect for me. Once the valve is open though, definitely loud.

My only issue is the valve rattle that tends to happen with valved exhausts.

Akrapovic, SARD or TRD Fujitsubo would be the ones I'd go with to meet the goals of

1.) Light
2.) Valved
3.) Not too Loud

You will pay a hefty penny for all 3 of those, but quality isn't cheap and this is a pay to play hobby anyways.

Akrapovic will definitely be the easiest of the 3 to get. TRD and SARD you'll probably be best off buying from a broker direct in Japan, shipping usually runs a few hundred bucks on top of that.
