wtf are nitrogen valve caps ??? are the caps made of nitrogen haha I swear someone’s job must be to make up shit to put on their markup sheets

I'm sure what they actually meant was nitrogen in the tires and not the valve caps but still that stuff is just stupid cause most places don't even carry it and it's a worthless waste of money. Tires don't typically leak or change pressure much and the only thing nitrogen really helps a little with is keep the tire "slightly" cooler but definitely won't help any on track or running the tires hard. Nitrogen is supposed to be more dense than air so it supposedly is not supposed to really leak out at all between taking tires off. I'd never waste time or money on it myself

They are actually a thing. They are green so people are supposed to know to put nitrogen in instead of air.

Thats crazy, all that markup and still let it sit outside to get those water spots real nice and baked in for you. I think I looked into them but was lucky enough to find one closer and $2,500 under sticker.

What you expect Toyota dealers have done a terrible job handling these cars since day 1. Absolute goddamn embarrassment

Not sure about this dealer, but I posted in the other dealer chat about my experience buying a MT supra last week in the area.

I ended up buying from Darcars in Silver Spring. They had a 5k markup initially, but I went in to test drive the car. Told the dealer I would absolutely not pay 5k over, and after some back and forth, i walked. They called me 30 min later with an offer of 1k over MSRP. I said no. After another 20 min or so they said 62, where MSRP was 61,800 or so, and price was agreed. They had a 2% commisison that ended up being around 1200 or so, but DARCARS assurance was 'included for free', though, its not much to write home about. Just a bunch of random crap you don't really need.

Overall experience with DARCARS Silver Spring was OK (2.5 out of 5 i would rate), but the paperwork took too long considering I came in with a check to pay, (sill over 1.5 hrs in total) and they wouldn't front load so I could simply come in, sign, and hand them the check.

Considering my most expensive car purchase, and my only new car purchase, I have had much more pleasant experiences buying used cars at mid 20k price point, so that in itself was a disappointment. I did ultimately pay MSRP, plus tax/title/2% fee. Overall felt ok with the price.
