What’s up guys
My daughter was following behind me today, when we got to her house she told me my car blew out a cloud of black smoke when I was at WOT..

I know this is a rich condition but what causes that?
Is this anything to be over concerned with?
How often should plugs be changed on a tuned car?
Car runs great..no noticeable power lose..

Car has 16k miles- pure800 with a custom 93 octane tune on MHD..
MST intake, charge pipe, AA downpipe and Borla exhaust..

I’ll do some logging and send it my tuner just to make sure everything’s good to go.. just trying to get a little insight from anyone that may have experienced this..

TIA Steve

Just running a bit rich momentarily, like on WOT upshifts, or even if it's been a minute since you last floored it and burns off a bit of carbon buildup. Nothing to worry about at all if it doesn't leave trails of black smoke every time you're under WOT. Tuned cars run a bit rich anyways, and rich is a million times safer than a lean condition.
