Like I posted in my first post… been busy enjoying the car to post about it. Within 20 mins of ownership, I had to throw the new wheels on that I had sitting in the house before I even purchased the car.

- Volk TE37 Saga - Diamond Dark Gunmetal
F: 18x10 +25 R: 18x11 +34
- Falken Azenis RT660
F: 275/35/18 R: 315/30/18

They compliment the carbon fiber front lip perfectly! When installing them, I unfortunately didn’t have the shorter bolts for the front due to the car having 13mm spacers up front, and when installing the new wheel with the longer bolts without the spacer, it was actually locking up the wheel and preventing it from spinning freely.

So for now, I’m rocking the longer bolts with spacers up front until the shorter bolts come in the mail which should be tomorrow. Then I can take the spacers back off, reinstall the wheels, and it will sit pretty much flush. Then, off to get an alignment to dial things in. One of these days I’d like to swap out the springs for full coilovers… but in time.

Also took the car to its first Caffeine and Octane in Jacksonville FL. I’m located in Valdosta, GA and there’s generally not much going on in regards to the car scene being a smaller city so I don’t mind making the 2 hour drive.

I had quite a few things I ordered last week show up in the mail today so decided to do some install time after getting home from work.

Added the complete Verus cap kit in anodized blue along with their Air Oil Separator and 6 port heat shield (in black), AMS CF ECU cover that IND had glossed over, Rexspeed CF Coolant Reservoir cover, and Rexspeed CF hood vents. I was able to somehow fit the OEM engine over with the port injection with a little finessing. It sits a little crooked, but better than staring at the rats nest of a motor. I’ll cut it one day when I upgrade the intake manifold.

Also added the Rexspeed CF steering wheel trim and some media button ring anodized blue from Amazon (I know I know.. it’s the rice in me 😆). I think I may buy the anodized blue start button from IND, we’ll see but after that I’ll be satisfied with the interior until I figure out what seats and cage I want to go with.

Last, got some pre-cut tint from Premium Autostyling to “smoke” all the exterior reflectors. Not sure if I like them or not, but for now they will do until I decide to get color matched replacements. Also swapped out the front lug bolts for the shorter ones and took the spacers off. Fitment is much better and flush now!

Install time for everything only took about an hour or two, nothing crazy. Now to go wash the car while the weather seems forgiving and grab some dinner. Having a garage is nice but man it was hotter than satan’s butthole here in South Georgia today. Need to invest in an AC unit or something… lol.

Happy Friday!

Not going to front, I love my Tungsten silver but I still can't deny how good the refraction blue looks on these cars, esp in your picture posing next to the white Toyota. Is that a 2door Corolla?

It’s a great color for sure!

Something like that. Tell me why I was actually looking for a 2 door Corolla lmao.

Sometimes the small cheap things make a big difference lol.

I believe for the Armaspeed intake, you have to modify the top of the box to make the AOS fit. There’s a member here that made a thread about doing it though.

Yeah that's what I thought, but was hoping it wasn't the case.

Not much has changed since last post but I did order a few more things and will update once those come in. Mostly just cleaned her up some and had to adjust the exhaust some due to an annoying rattle around 3k rpms near the middle of the car that was driving me crazy. Nonetheless, this car sounds amazing. Nothing but compliments with how it sounds even despite how loud is it.

By far my favorite build thus far!
Why did you down size to 18's?
Thanks! And no specific reason really other than I just prefer how it looks. Normally better and cheaper tire selection though too.
