Going to be really hard to track where it's at in the process given the lack of info Toyota Canada even has on them. I believe OP may have mentioned VIN is available once its loaded onto the ship but my dealer says they don't see it until it's with the trucking company meaning on it's way from port to dealer. Either way it seems the rough timeframe from confirmation of production to successful delivery is around 4-5months.

I know in the past when I've ordered a new Subaru I was able to track the ship it was on and figure out the transport company that was taking it to the dealer and that was 100% accurate. The dealer didn't believe I had the right info until it arrived on the day I told him it was lol.. but that was a while ago... I'm sure logistics change all the time for these sorts of things.
Yeah from what I've been told my supra is already enroute to the dealer hence why its a 2 month estimate for delivery but there's almost no way to track it and my dealer said they can't see where its at either. Porsche is so good at providing updates for their cars while in production etc. but figured Toyota would have almost no info

This definitely explains as to why a bunch of MT allocations became available and we got calls for them with May ETA’s.

In early Feb I left a deposit with my local dealer for a Renaissance Red 3.0 AT. At the time I mistakenly thought that the MT was only available in the A91 package. I was told it would probably be Sep/Oct before it came in. I received a call from my dealer a week ago asking if I was interested in the red 3.0 with a MT that was due to be delivered end April. I jumped on it. The allocation posted by Rustyoid on Feb 21, shows my dealer would be getting a Nocturnal 3.0 MT. I am assuming they were able to trade out for the red as I did verify that the one now offered was in fact red. Fingers crossed, so excited!

Speaking of Rustyoid, hope he's alright/didn't get in trouble or anything for doing these posts. Normally he would have done the next round of updates by now.

Like most other owner. I placed a deposit in Aug 2022 for a CU Later MT. Got a call mid March and there was an allocation for a Nitro Yellow, so I took it the spot. Estimate arrival by end of May. I am in GTA.

Your dealer got an allocation for a Nocturnal MT but now they’re getting you a Red MT? Which dealer is this out of curiosity?

Is anyone else worried about the clutch and power loss issues with the manuals? I'm tempted to wait to see what's in store for 2024 model year or get an M2.

Considering the fact that it's only happened to a small handful of people, I'm not really worried. There's seemingly many other MT owners enjoying their cars problem free, and there's probably even more of them that aren't posting on the forums since they're not having any issues.

Boards/Forums always introduce some form of confirmation bias just cause that's generally where people are led to/end up, and start talking about issues they're having with any given platform
