I wouldn’t say it jerks a lot, but when I let off the gas pedal at 5 mph, the car feels like braking.

I find it's a bit jerky at low speeds, especially when the car is cold. I usually drive in manual mode and start in 2nd, doing so eliminates the jerkiness in my experience.
