Ceramic Coating or Waxing with Factory PPF

Has anyone tried or given their car to a detailer with the factory PPF?

My car came with a PPF on the hood, and I was looking to do my own ceramic coating or wax on my car, but I don't know if you're supposed to do it while the factory PPF is still on there or should I try to remove it my self?
