Circular cutouts on subwoofer box

I noticed these two circular openings on the subwoofer box in this video review of a ‘23 model. My ‘22 doesn’t have them. Is this a 2023 model year sound system improvement?

Or this owner did the mod already? I would think someone would have mentioned the subwoofer cutouts if they were coming stock now.

I can confirm they do not come stock with the 2023 models yet.

They don`t come with the 2023 as standard so it would have been modified by the owner. I plan on doing that mod myself.
