Did Toyota REALLY Sell 50 A91-MT's in Canada?

Curious if anyone has accurate production or delivery numbers for the 2023 A91-MT in Canada.

Toyota officially stated 50 units allocated to Canada, but I’ve heard from multiple dealers that actual customer-delivered cars may have been much lower.

Does anyone know:

• how many A91-MTs were actually delivered/sold in Canada?
• any colour breakdown between Matte White and CU Later Gray?
• whether Toyota ever published internal allocation data?

Would love to see actual numbers or VIN tracking if anyone has it.

Not sure about numbers, but I believe I saw a white one for sale last year in BC for 65k.. now the market has gone crazy with no more supras being made. Even 2023/2024 3.0 premiums here in BC are being listed for 70k . Crazy

Wasn't the CU Later Grey available on non-A91 models as well? Not sure about the Matte White though. I'd assume the grey is more common in Canada than the US.

I don't think anyone here is going to know accurate delivery numbers but I think it's safe enough to say that it'd be maximum of 50. A91-MT is a gimmick anyways, all it means is you get one of two specific colors, a manual, and the Hazelnut interior.

Yes I have an imported CU Later from Canada which has an automatic and black interior.

I kind of agree honestly. Most “special editions” are mostly appearance/packages and marketing.

I actually bought my A91-MT completely by chance, dealer happened to have it and I grabbed it. Hazel interior is nice.

That said, I’m still surprised how strong used Supra pricing has become, especially manuals.

Personally I think the only truly special modern Supra is the A90 Final Edition. and only 300 units for Japan/EU.

From what I know, most countries outside the US, CU Later is a standard paint option for A90s.

But US wise, CU Later was an A91-MT option only for 2023.

I actually did a bit of research on this a few months ago. I'm not saying this is 100% accurate, but you get a good idea of how many we're sold at any given time by using this website here. As a note, this lumps all editions together. So 23' and 24 will have the 4 cyl included.

Subtract model years 2019-2022 from overall sold, and then take roughly 50-55% of all sold from 2023-2025, and you'll get a rough estimate on how many manuals there are.

I'm from Canada and using this estimate, I've found there should be roughly around 590-650 manual Supras sold in Canada from 2023-2025. Taking into account the a91 manual, that number you provided seems pretty realistic.

US would be roughly 4110 - 4521 manuals sold. Not including 2026 of course.

I'm guessing you want to know how rare this vehicle is going to be in the future. So, it gets even trickier when you start to factor in vehicle write-offs, which as of writing this, seems to be 22% per year or about 1 in 5 vehicles. I would assume that this statistic for the car is higher, since it's a sports car.

So sad to see so few Supra
For the 91 CU and burnout, I think it was supposed to be 50/50
