I will take it to a local mechanic and see if they can scan it for me. Honestly I wasn't sure if a scan would come up with what the issue would be tbh.

All I know is the door master switch has no power and it seems people just replaced the side view mirror as the remedy. 🤷

Which doesn't make sense to me! How is replacement of the mirror going to .make the power work on the door master switch.
get a proper BMW mechanic with ISTA to diagnose the problem dont throw parts at it. we may have the wrong diagnosis...lol

check the fault codes. a shorted motor/switch can send error messages to the LIN bus to the body computer...

Just thought I'd give an update in case anyone else has a similar issue. Took it to a local mechanic this morning, they specialize in electrical diagnosis. They just called and said it was a main fuse that was tripping due to water getting into the mirror housing(which we all kinda thought).

Not sure what fuse it affected, I will find out tomorrow when I pick up the car so I can pass on the info to the forum. At least my door switches etc work and I can now roll up my window. 👍

The mirror when plugged in was still blowing the fuse. They are ordering me a brand new mirror from Toyota.

Appreciate the replies, help and feedback from the forum.

So, turns out it was infact f67 that was blowing and kept blowing everytime it was replaced The shop said because the sideview mirror was plugged in, it kept blowing that fuse which allows power to the door switches etc. He unplugged the mirror and every works fine now. Just waiting on the new mirror to come in.

When I get the new mirror in I am going to use a sealant around the housing to stop water getting in again. At least now I know what to look for.

Hopefully this helps others who have or will have a similar issue.
