Driveway Labs - Yes I really just work in my driveway

Hey all! So I just wanted to make a quick post to say welcome to my sub forum and thank you for the love and support.

I got hit with the vendor paywall so here we are, hopefully I can sell enough awesome things to pay for it each month. Because that means I am doing my job for you all.

I am a retired Army Special Forces guy. I grew up in a garage building hotrods, honing blocks, etc and cars have really been the hobby that stuck with me my whole life. Currently located in the Charlotte area of NC

I self taught aerodynamics while being mentored by some brilliant aero engineers for teams like Viper ACR, Penske, Ganassi, Riley Racing, etc... and they've coached me through cad design work to catch my material fabrication up to modern day. I am also lucky enough to have a couple Supra owners in the community who are full time mechanical engineers that help me way beyond my own personal skill level.

I just want to build cool stuff to help us enjoy our wonderful cars more than we already do.

If you have an idea or a request. Pitch it to me. I can't do every little custom idea that comes up but I can try and I can get you pointed down the path to get it done yourself.

Over the next weeks I'll post my existing products that I offer as well as my 12 month road map of plans and projects to expect. I am excited beyond words to get to do this full time now. I'll do my best for you, please let me know if and how I need to improve.

Haha no, not at all — I believe I was already past the phase that you were cadre of.

Did you bring that BRZ with you back to Group? Because I think I remember seeing it around again years later at JBLM and thinking to myself "holy fuck, it has fucking EVOLVED" (now I see how/why that happened ?)!

Yeah, it came back with me and then back to bragg again and then it got re-homed to a ocd young enthusiast here in the Raleigh area who takes better care of it than I could have ever tried

This just reminds me of the time I saw a Supra in Phantom evolve on JBLM. Fellow Spec-4 owned it and I chatted with him in line at the DFAC. After dinner I left and saw it with a shattered headlight and dented hood. He let some other guy drive it and in the span of an hour it went from pristine to broken
