General consensus seems to be that it's laggy and doesn't make as much power as you'd expect.

IPOS is the popular choice for b48 builds -

You can make a bit under 400whp on pump gas and around 450 with ethanol on this turbo: https://iposmotorsport.com/products/im450-b46-b48-turbo-upgrade

I think if you push past 370whp you risk blowing the motor though. Navardi makes a nice kit for builds:
