Are you going to buy the 4 cylinder version?

There are three types of transmissions: Manual, sequential, and automatic.

Change my mind.

The only acceptable engine swap in the A90. 2URGSE

Anything else I'll take a bmw inline six thanks.
You know, every time I hear one of those engines, or pull up behind an newer Lexus, I ask myself "Man, why wasn't this car on my radar?" Then two words bubble up from the depths of my mind "spindle grille..." And I forget about Lexus all over again.

The IS F didn't have the spindle grille though...

True. I was thinking more generally about the current Lexus model lineup.

The equivalent Toyota JP models don't suffer that plight; I absolutely love the Toyota Crown for instance.

Unfortunately, v8 isn't a thing unless you go S200 (2 gens older) or Lexus.

I gave up on Lexus design after I sold my IS350. For a luxury car brand, that is the one area I feel they lack....exterior design. Interior, technology, reliability, engineering...hands down Lexus. Design....Mercedes all the way!

At least they aren't doing the hexa-grill like the rest of the world(Audi,Ford,Chevy, etc.)

Given the over 50% manual take rate for the twins I don't see why they don't just offer a stick in the 4cyl (Celica) Supra and replace the 86 with it.

As a manual BRZ owner I'd be interested in it even at the $40K asking price. Seems like a logical natural progression.

This is the answer to those clamoring for a Turbo 86.

Why not just name the 4-cylinder a Celica(not Celica-Supra). :D
