Hi everyone.
im sorry if this has been answered before, I just couldn’t find a more in detail answer.
I installed a new steering wheel and now I have Error 030490. Steering wheel electronics module (LRE), missing LIN slave .
The errors on the dash are:
Lane assist and blind spot monitoring error .
Has anyone encountered this issue after your new steering wheel install ?
Best regards

Have you figured out your issue? I just experienced the same issue today. I might try to take the wheel off to ensure everything is plugged back in… hoping you found a fix before I go that route!

I actually have not.
I’m going to do the same , I’m gonna take the wheel off and reinstall.
I’m thinking that maybe I either installed the vibration motor backwards or I didnt plug something fully. If you do take the wheel off before me, would you please be able to take a pic of the positioning of the vibration motor?
Best regards .

so it turns out I and a dodo 🦤. I didn’t plug one of the cables in all the way. It was the cable directly behind the airbag. I won’t have the chance to drive the car till tomorrow, but I am assuming this was the issue.

The exact same thing happened to me before and it was exactly this. I so being so cautious on not fucking up the airbag, that I forgot to connect the cables :|

Haha 100% on point. I got nervous plugging the top two back in that it distracted me. Glad this seems to be the cause and not something else!

That’s great. I’m glad yours was just that.
I’m gonna re install the airbag again, hopefully it’s just that.
Best regards

Definitely was the case… I drove around for 1/2 hour aimlessly today just to make sure😃. No more warning! On a side note…. I’m really disappointed in the Injen evolution intake. Absolutely no increased Turobksi noises 😕.

I’ve heard the one that makes the most noise is the armaspeed intake. I have a AMS and honestly don’t even hear it but it doesn’t bother me !
I’ve seen so many armaspeed for sale on the forum so maybe you can give that one a shot !
