Exhaust seems quieter

I have a 2021 3.0 (locked ecu) Supra with 1,500 miles.
I have a CTS catless downpipe with the stock exhaust and it seems to have got significantly quieter randomly...
Yes, the valve works when i go from normal to sport mode so I’m stumped to how/why it’s quieter.

anyone experience something like this?

it used to roar on cold start with the catless downpipe and was pretty aggressive in sport mode.Now it just seems stock.
(Car hasn’t been to the dealer or have a tune aside from my JB4)

2021 tuned, sometimes on a start I get a roar...sometimes I don't.
Without a tune and the catless, did it throw any codes and go into limp mode? How's the power otherwise?

Mine used to be obnoxiously loud, then I put on an 850 and it is quite a bit quieter now But I get all kinds of fun spinny noises, so there's that at least.

I have a check engine light from the catless downpipe, no limp mode or any issues otherwise. Car drives fine and pulls hard, just annoyed on it being quiet lol

You won’t always get a roar on start up.
I get a roar if my car has been running for a while or if it’s really cold out.
you can force a roar by downshifting at 4k rpm

figured it out. Exhaust flap wasnt opening. I removed the pin and left it fully open manually.
