Fix for Driver Restraint System?

Anyone replaced stock seats or switched for another oem bmw seat have a fix for this?
Managed to get the cognac seats for my 2020 Supra, install went fine but got this error.

anyway to get the seat air bags to work instead of just clearing the code?

did you unplug the battery before R&R the seats? if not you just need someone to clear your memory faults. bimmerlink can do it

No unfortunately I didn’t unplug the battery, does clearing the memory faults actually make the airbag usable or does it just clear the code

Know if of a way to renable the airbag? SRS reset or something?

Like others have stated, if you didn't disconnect the battery it will trip that. Just reset the code and you are good.

tried to clear these codes, no dice (said it error could no clear). Could it be because I didn’t put the modules from the old seats to the new seats?

Found this on the oem w seat, don’t know how I missed it.

that removed the passenger occupancy error, and I moved the original driver module back and cleared the driver restraint system.
Still have these I couldn’t clear that says is related to airbag, from what could pop up from google half of it seems to be related to parking and reverse sensors… any of these I should be worried about though? I’m assuming my airbags are working now.

Just installed a starlight headliner the other day and had to remove the seats. Now I ended up plugging the battery back in to test the lights without the seats in the car. After putting everything back together I now have the driver and passenger restraint system code. The seatbelt also does not lock unless I give it a hard and fast pull. Any ideas?

No clue.. check if all the modules are connected both passenger and driver, and see if you can clear codes. Shouldn’t have happened if it’s still the same stock seats you put in and out.

Ended up clearing the code with BimmerLink a couple days ago so I think we are all good. Thanks for the reply tho!
