HAAS will still be at the rear. All this shows is how slow the rest are going. Mercedes car is very interesting. I wonder if Ferrari's objection will gain traction seeing it's illegal to make aerodynamic mirror mounts.

Hard to know who is really quick but it does look like Red Bull is very clearly ahead of everyone else, followed by Ferrari, with Mercedes and McLaren a step or two behind both teams. I would be surprised if Red Bull doesn't control the first few races of the season.

Nobody went full speed. Impossible to tell. Mercedes have played this "underdog" game for 8 years, and then then go 1-2 the first race. I hope you're right, but it won't be a surprise if Mercedes is on the front row.

I'm a Mercedes fan but man it's so good to hear Italia again. F1 needs a healthy Ferrari.

Red Bull double DNF 5 laps from the end. LOL ouch. ? Feel badly for Checo though.

The double RB dnf was just the cherry on the top. Happy for Ferrari but gotta pour one out for Mclaren, they look terrible this year

Was a great race. Red Bull will be on top of the issues soon enough. At least they're in the fight. Teething problems are to be expected.

McLaren have their own issues but the Mercedes engine is hands-down now the worst on the grid this year. Weren't the last six cars all Mercedes-powered? So many issues with Mercedes ... doubt they will be relevant anytime soon, not when they were 30-40 seconds behind Charles well before the safety car.

On the plus side, it was a real exciting race and it does look like the changes are already paying dividends.

Not a single person would’ve believed a HAAS would’ve finished 5th, and be 3rd in the constructors championship after the first race being behind Ferrari and Merc.

Listening to Max melt down all race was fantastic.

I'm newly getting into F1 (have watched all of the DTS seasons except haven't finished the last one) but Ricardo is my favorite from the show and it hurts to see McLaren doing so poorly in race 1.
Clearly there an issue with RB engines, though it seems to be a low fuel level issue from what I've seen this AM. MB is also doing poorly with their PU. It is good to see another competitive team though with Ferrari finishing strong.
