Lando really wanted those soft tires. Wonder if that would have helped him or Piastri more?

Albon already had that seat and was moved along. It’s tough to have a team with 2 top drivers, stuff goes downhill fast. It’s normal for a team to have a number one driver and a number 2 driver.

Good points. Perez did showcase (again) how well Red Bull can come back from behind. I just wish he could figure out how to piece it all together qualifying. Maybe for SPA?

sounds like depending on how his tire test goes, Ricciardo will be replacing De Vries after the summer break. Hopefully it’s not the final nail on the coffin for him, but if Yuki beats him in the second half he has no excuse

I know Marko said Ric is a long way off from Max and Perez in the sims. And he said it wouldn't be an option to replace Nick. But everyone knows how that goes. I'm willing to bet if he can do good in his RB19 test this week he may step in for Nick. I wonder how bad that car is, Yuki hasnt exactly been doing that great either this year.

Not that I know anything about anything, but IMO Daniel lost his mojo years ago. Doesn't seem like the newer cars jive with him. So it wouldn't surprise me if he really is way behind in the sims.

Yeah he was way off at the beginning of the year. But he’s apparently pretty competitive now.

We'll find out soon enough, but I'm sure De Vries is out. Which is really a shame. He did so good at Monza last year.
I doubt we'll see Ric in the AT. I'm more inclined to Liam Lawson.
Who knows.
I would've loved to see Mick Schumacher in that car instead.

You should get F1TV so you can listen to the alternate commentary by Jolyon Palmer and David Coulthard. Much better than those idiots on Sky. Brundle is good though but the others are ridiculous.

You think he is going to do much better than Yuki? I dont dislike Ric, more just neutral. Based on what he did at Alpine and especially Mclaren I'd be surprised if he could even hang with Perez, and not coming close to Max.
