Probably a bit of both! :drive:

..nah, RB are clearly cheating, just only with one car! 😝

They are 10000% cheating. The cheat code is Max. Max is for sure in the discussion as the GOAT, though i add Hamilton to Danny's list. All 4 are the greatest F1 drivers ever. I tip my hat towards Max though, reason being. If you brought Senna or Schumacher to todays cars i don't think they would perform at Lewis best or Max best. If you brought Lewis and Max to their generation of cars, Maybe Lewis could get the most out the old Ferrari, but i think Max would be the only one able to run at that elite level in Senna's cars. I think Lewis may be up there, but i don't think he would as fast. If you give Lewis a car set up for him he will drive that thing to the front, when you miss the set up or the car isn't perfect for him, he faulters. Max can drive a shit box to the front of the field and if you give him a perfectly set up car for him, he is unstoppable.

If i was making a dream F1 team, id want Max and Lewis for development and Max and Oscar for my drivers. And it would be a tough pick between Horner and Toto to run it lolol

McLaren really have dropped a bollock here with the switch to the 2026 car!
With the 2026 car being a whole new regulation set, nothing they do to develop this car carries over.

Max has definitely brought himself back to the title fight, but still, there's a lot of variables that have to go his way for a win. Needs to beat both Mclarens, Mercedes and Ferrari shouldn't pop in stealing points off him (I'd imagine Vegas might favor the Merc again), he can't get Kimi-kazed like in Austria, IIRC Max hasn't given up his car for the young driver test sessions so he's gotta hope they don't bin it, etc.

So far the Mercedes and Ferrari's have been helping Max. He lost 7 points in Singapore to Russell, but he beat the McLaren's so he still had a net gain in a place where they thought they would lose out. As long as he outscores Piastri by an average of 8 points a weekend, he can get it done. And if there's another weekend like this one where he outscores him by almost triple that, he'll be right up there come Abu Dhabi

No doubt it’s a stretch. But like Max said, winning will solve a lot of problems. As long as he’s focused on that, ya never know. It might even be possible….

After last weekend it's not that impossible as it once seemed. If it rains in Brazil anything can happen. We know that's where Max is super strong. Mexico is called MAXico for a reason, and Lando will be helping Max by wanting to beat Oscar. If Lando keeps getting P2's, Oscar will fall short, as will Lando. So the Papaya Rules might hand the title to Max.

He's giving up his car for FP1 this weekend for the young driver session. Im gonna go out on a limb and say someone at Red Bull has had a stern talk with them to not fuck up Max's car lol

It'll be a reconnaissance lap at 70mph and straight back in the garage 🤣

Highly disappointed with the stewarding -- Max resorting to his numpty dirty divebombs and getting no penalty for crashing into Hamilton...dude was pointed at the barriers, not the racetrack
Only disappointing moment was the VSC. Was unnecessary with Sainz out of the way. Would've been een epic pass after a long hunt.
Hamilton and Max barely touched. In no way was that a collision.

A 6L thing
I think the 10secs was a bit harsh, any other day that would have been a 5sec.

Although, based on the 3 abreast carnage going on while he took the wider grass line, had Hamilton taken the official line I reckon there would have been carbob fibre confetti about! 😂

10 seconds is the minimum penalty now, after Russell yeeted past Albon intentionally in Monaco.

Hamilton's penalty was for gaining an advantage, not how he got back on track. When Hamilton went off, he was behind Max. When he got back on, he was 2 seconds in front of Bearman and Max.

That VSC was the stupidiest thing I’ve seen in a while. Max and Oscar are approaching to pass in limited areas you can, Carlos is safe, flip the switch so no one can pass and positions remain the same 🙄

Regardless, Max was happy, he’s closing the gap to both drivers. It’ll be tough but becoming more and more possible 🤞

I'm hoping for a downpour in Brazil. If it's anything like last year's race, Max will be within 15 points of the leader with 3 races to go

There was an earlier incident were marshals were out on a hot track in front of Lawson, and they definitely were not going to take another risk like that.

Also, apparently Sainz's car had a small fire, which caused race control to trigger the VSC, but the marshals put it out faster than expected. Safety >>>> all else.
