My understanding is that the overheating issues in testing were due to the tightly packed chassis, similar to McLaren when they had Honda PUs, and I believe also Red Bull with Renault units.They can thank Newey for demanding a late change to the design to make it more compact.
A few years ago the RB cars were suffering massively from overheating due to similar demands around sizing of the bodywork.
He's a genius, no doubt - but usually he has a TP above him to temper some of his requests/demands.
The vibration issue seems to be on Honda's design for the ICE and MGU-K. The AMR chassis probably amplifies that feeling through to the steering wheel, but it seems like something for Honda to figure out.
Seems like there is fault on both sides here.
