When using the Jumper Cable method , the additional vehicle will have the engine running for approximately 30 minutes during the flash with the jumper cables connected to your vehicle with the ignition on.

I've used it for Bimmercoding and it's been great.

For Bimmercode you can just keep the engine running. Vehicle while flashing will have engine OFF and ignition ON, that's why charger is a good thing to have.

This is an OEM I-Step Update.

The headunits software stays intact and you can still use BimmerCode etc after the upgrade .

No dealer issues etc , No effects on tune.

It will be plugged to terminals under the hood.
Car while flashing will have Engine OFF, Ignition ON so to maintain stable power supply battery charger is needed.
