what about F245? the interior light in the trunk? I installed an additional USB and 12v Car charger on the trunk. Since I believe the Euro specs A90 has them. and its much easier to pump the tires and vacuum the trunk space with it. Rather than relying on the single cigarette lighter in the front. I used the F273 which also stays on 6mins after the car is off and turns on as soon as you unlock the car. I have no problem so far

I want the footwell lights to activate and deactivate with the opening of a door.

i saw the supra has these holes already in the trunk. And the port i bought fit perfectly in it. I didnt drill or cut into anything at all. Any of the holes wouldve worked. And i also didnt need to disassemble anything.

This is exactly what I bought. I wasnt sure if it was going to work but im glad it did.
what i did to avoid screwing it on was making a back plate to sandwich it from the inside of the panel. Ill take more pictures when i get home to explain it. And i just tapped into the F273 with like a fuse tap adapter.

Alright! I placed my order for that. I like it. What did you use for backplate material? I look forward to your additional pics. I really think this is a great job. Presumably, you wired both the USB & cig ports together in parallel and used just one fuse-tap.

oh for the backplate i used like an ABS plastic. i cut it up from a front lip i broke from my miata. but i mean any material should be fine just make sure it slightly bigger than the front plate.

Also, i know you were looking to wire up courtesy lights, but i did wire up some Led RGB strips on mine, theyre also tapped to the 12v cigarette lighter but at the fuse box infront by the passenger footwell. Though they dont turn on and off by the door, they are remote controlled

Another nice install. Maybe (if you wanted) by moving the fuse-tap over to fuse location 61 they'd operate with the courtesy lamp (as I recall). Just a thought. I'm wondering how you crossed the middle console with the wiring. It looks pretty tight.

oh thanks for the info! ill keep that in mind. i actually had to run it all the way to the back end of the middle console. thats where all of them meet.
