Might have to change the order up…
you can still hit 900 with the g30 and don’t have to run a turbo at its lowest efficient point to hit 700. I would let my mods/engine decide the turbo I go with. A lot of people are about the big turbo life until their stuff breaks lol

The G30 is a baby dick turbo best suited for 2.xL 4cyl or as a pair of twins on a smallish V8. The 55mm turbine exd is a terrible combo and smells like a recipe for compressor surge. You might as well save the cost and complexity and drop the 'cool factor' of a kit and just go Pure 850. Between the two Garrets G35 is the better match but there are several other options between Xona, PTE, etc.. that would be better than either, IMO.

This is what I thought from looking them over and the price point but I didn't want to assume.

Also think it's really odd people keep pushing them but they aren't even out yet.
You can go buy the turbo I mentioned right now. I assumed OP was doing a top mount setup and just wanted a turbo that fits comfortably in his requested power range.

I bought the G35-1050 competitor (the 70 Omega) in my other car. Its been great.

G35-1050, or better yet, Xona 9564. Good for 900, great spool. Full boost by 4500. Xona makes an incredibly efficient turbo.
📝 waiting for remnant is getting a bit zzz guess I might go this way too

yea i was all about the Remnant turbo but after a year of “coming soon” i decided to go top mount. Although expensive im sure it will be worth it.

Hey! So I ran both a G30-900 and now a G35-1050. Check your A/R as that can change your spool up time.

I made low 700's on it. I can honestly say that my pure800 setup was much quicker spool and put out slightly more power.

Now on the g35-1050 - I make high 800's but the lag is much higher.

The other thing I might add is the P2uned kit is an open scroll which tends to have a bit more bottom-end lag regardless of the turbo. So it's all dependent on your application (Track racing vs road racing)

it's rated for 900 but you will push it too much with anything more than 750+

The G35-1050 comes with a .61 A/R, should hopefully spool quick
