I know there was a vendor who once sold these in the past but has since been having issue with a viable supplier. I'm tired of waiting (as others probably feel the same).

Has anyone cross referenced an oem bmw tip that slips on the factory exhaust but in an oem larger gloss black tip? Perhaps from an M2, M3, M4, 340, 440, etc

These look like what you’re looking for, although sold out at the moment

TBH, the Supra stock tips are already 4 inches.

So for it to make sense you gotta go up at least to 4.5 - 5.

Honestly I'm probably just gonna have some better looking tips just welded on.

~ Yes this is the vendor I was referencing... unfortunately there seems to have been multiple delays.
Aw man. I wish AWE would sell the tips off their exhaust, literally perfect design

Well after waiting for an extended period of time for oem plus to find another manufacturer... I've given up.

I elected to remove the oem stock tips and I'm having them powder coated in satin black. I expect to have them back in a week or so and will post some photos. I think the satin black will blend better with the black lower rear bumper.

Can’t wait to see how it turns out.
Is that shop still waiting on tips?

The OEM plus we’re worth the wait. But I get being antsy. These are the satin black slightly larger than stock tips

Why not just spray the originals in 2K matt or gloss black. 1/2 hour prep time and a $25 can of 2K paint. Just as durable as powder coat if not more so and you can do it at home. Paint one day and fit again then next.

maybe because the Supra deserves better than the way we used to fix up our 1992 Honda civics back in the 90’s…..

Deserving's got nothing to do with it it's engineering. I'm betting you didn't use 2K paint back in the 80's on your Civic. More likely rattle can engine enamel. You need to open your mind to proven alternatives. You can get a superior quality of finish and just as good durability in this application using 2K as you can powder coating.
Here's the quality of finish you can get with Matt black 2K, and it's a durable as any powder coat and heat tolerant to 190deg C.
