Kidding about the oil. I already know the spec is the infamous 0W20. The GR86 forums argue about oil almost as much as here.

0W0 and squeeze in some silicone. Like putting a scratch on your own car to get it out of the way.

That's a huge change, genuinely curious why? An old friend of mine had one, an Exige, he got tired of it pretty fast. Supra is a great all around vehicle the elise seems to be pretty miserable as a street car is my impression.

If you're looking for the experience of the Exige there isn't a lot of options that are going to be as raw as that. Supra is great all around but doesn't scratch the same itch if that's what you want.
