I reached out to Rays to have a set made in Supra spec.

Rays forwarded the email to Mackin Industries, who is the exclusive importer and master distributor for RAYS Wheels in North and South America. MI said that the Black Metal Coat is more than just a finish, it affects the way that the wheel is produced which is why RAYS didn't make a 5x112 set.

The sales rep said to have 5 people that express explicit interest through one dealer, then for that dealer to reach out to MI who would then go to RAYS.

If anyone is interested, let me know here or shoot me a PM and I'll provide the email.

I've looked into this before as I wanted to do a custom run of TE's at one point. In order for RAYS to do a custom run/spec of wheels, they need an order for 40 wheels minimum, or 10 sets.

Having 5 with explicit interest just means that MI will actually respond to your emails when you reach out to place the order, you'll also need to put down a deposit for the full amount before the order goes through.

For anyone wondering what "Black Metal" is, it's basically what they call SBC now. It's a Chrome finish:

Thread is useless without pics.
I have to agree.

It wasn't easy, but I found a 3D artist for hire over the holidays to render what a set of these rims would look like on a Supra. I'm glad he was as creative as he was because, AFAIK, they don't exist in 5x112.

Here is a picture (indistinguishable from reality IMO) of the nonexistent rims:

Just to be thorough, I also asked him to take this image and alter it to give a rough idea of how they would look in 5x112.

Here is the result:

I also pulled out my old college textbooks to freshen up on my math. I ran the numbers and it turns out that "Thread is useless without pics." requires more keystrokes than opening a new tab and typing "Rays 57CR BMC" in the search bar.

Yes, because I care about keystrokes when a lazy petty bitch is trying to gather interest for a group buy order on wheels but can’t put the effort to show any of us what these wheels look like on the MKV Supra. Ok…I guarantee your useless thread will stay…useless. Happy new year, Petty bitch. lol.

Ah, yes. A good ol' ad hominem, the last resort of the intellectually bankrupt.

Since you 100% missed it, you can't buy these rims for this car without a special order. That's how this thread got here. If they were available to purchase without a special order then I wouldn't need a group buy and I wouldn't have to explain to some complete illiterate why there aren't pictures of it.

The only way they'd exist is if someone received a special order from Rays (MI said there have been zero in North and South America). Short of that, you can run adapters, but this rim in this finish doesn't come in a 10.5x wide at 5x114.3 that'll fit the supra. If you want that rim in a 9.5, I'm sure someone will google it for you.

I say all of that to say this: the information was there for you to understand that there was a reason for a lack of pictures all along. Furthermore, it's possible to just like... not reply at all if what you have to say contributes zero value. It's also possible to just say, "I didn't know that." If someone volunteers to google those rims and you change your mind, maybe they can instead google a YouTube video on how to not get SO UPSET on the INTERNET that you have to resort to name calling. If not a video, maybe a book like Cody The Elephant Faces Adversity On The Schoolbus or some shit.

Anyway, I hope everyone's holidays were nice except for this absolute champion: https://www.supramkv.com/members/splv.3527/

Looks pretty good, but I personally would never buy limited-production wheels that can't be replaced
