Have you done a battery registration on the car yet?
Okay this is interesting, I have not, and the car hasn't once warned me about the battery. No idea why lol.

Okay, sorted out the Emergency Call Malfunction error! There is a speaker in the driver's side floorwell, above the pedals. It is for all the bongs and dings the car makes, and I guess for the emergency call function as a backup speaker. If it gets disconnected, then the system gets mad at you. I reconnected it and the error went away!

Also, look what came in!

It's in Chicago right now, with all of the other parts. I'll be driving up to Chicago sometime soon to get all of the parts and install all this stuff. Assuming there are no travel restrictions with all of the COVID stuff. We'll see!

This is pretty cool, how did you find out about the little SOS speaker? Hopefully this thread keeps me busy until I order my 2.0 this summer. Following on IG too!

I was deeeeep into Bimmertech and some random dude mentioned that having the speaker disconnected on his 335i caused him to have the malfunction. It was pure luck because nobody else mentioned it even once. Now we know!

Here's the latest episode of the build! The videos are a bit behind where I'm at with the car now, but I'm editing them as fast as I can!

The quarter panel looks easily repairable unless there is other damage I cannot see. It would be better to repair it than removing the quarter panel. You're almost there!

So you mentioned livery and aero. Is the car going to be a track toy?
