Had to get a new key. Learned something new

Didn’t know this, but when you get a new key, that key, when used to operate the car, is like a different profile for the car. All your setting are different, even the Bimmercode reverts. Use the older key, and everything is as programmed or selected as before.

Anyone else notice this with usin a different key and Bimmercode?

I didn't notice BimmerCode but, yes, car and manual is clear that for seat and driver/etc. config, you can easily program the two keys that come with the car.
