Heritage style wings - downforce benefits?

I really like the look of the heritage/MKIV style wings. Seibon, LG, etc. But curious if they provide any actual downforce benefits? I did some searching and couldn't come up with an answer although I suspect it is zero to minimal. If anything the added weight to the rear might add some benefits lol?

You're correct. There's a reason none of the track rats on here are using it.
Hello. I tracked mine with this wing. It actually was pulling the trunklid up. There's no proper bracing underneath to sandwich and my trunk had outward dimples

I'm living near the german autobahn and drive about 250-300km/h with it sometimes and have none of those dimples

At the right speed the car becomes an airplane

Not currently. Thankfully the verus wing base covers 99% of the holes the Mk4 wing makes. A little vinyl on the edge and you'd never see it.

This is the answer. Someone on this forum was kind enough to measure/picture the holes to verify before I installed my heritage. If I end up tracking more I’ll just switched over.
