I’ve read people having issues with shock bearings when installing springs. Wondering if anyone has had any issues with the HKS HAS.

I have an intermittent click while turning the wheel typically when I’m coming up my driveway/stopping/going at relative speed but nothing when I turn the wheel full lock in either direction at a stand still.

I’m going to jack her up tomorrow and give it a look under but just wondering if anyone had a similar experience.

I had some clunking noise from my HKS HAS. Found out it came from the dress up bolt kit I had on the shock tower. The bolts were just a little too long causing some rubbing.

Problem solved.

Those of you that have changed their springs or put in coilovers know that loosening the LCA bolt helps get the shock out… who ever installed the coilovers on my car for the previous owner forgot to torque the bolt back down….which is why I started to hear knocking on turns. Luckily it didn’t damage anything else and the bushing appears to be in good order. Sheesh. Good thing I checked when I did. It wasn’t finger loose but I had a considerable amount of left/right play in the wheel because of it.
