I wonder if installer even trimmed the rear bump stops. OP, did you sort the front out yet?

Thanks again everyone for the help. I really appreciate it. The MkV community has been incredible!

The shop refunded me part of the install cost because they believe the rear was installed correctly. We’ll see once I take it to a new shop to have the fronts pulled apart, corrected, and have them inspect the rear to make sure everything back there is good.

After the install, the shop told me I would need rear camber arms, so I purchased the Eibach Pro-Alignment rear camber arm kit. One of the shops I’ve been talking to said I may also need front camber plates once the front HKS HAS is installed correctly and lowered to the proper height.

For those of you running HKS HAS, did you need front camber plates to get the car aligned properly, or were you able to get a good street alignment without them?

My current front camber is around -2.0° to -2.1°, but that was with the front sitting too high because of the incorrect install. I’m trying to figure out if correcting the install and lowering the front properly may naturally get the front camber closer to where it needs to be, or if camber plates are usually needed with this setup.

Thanks again!

If you plan to keep the HAS long term it's worthwhile to get the camber plates and have them installed at the same time the front struts get redone. Skip the double labor + alignments. The adjustability from the camber plates is worth it alone for fitment and future alignments purposes. Good luck!

I ran front camber plates with HKS springs at one point - didn't upgrade any other suspension parts.

This was my alignment and setup at that time
