I’m pretty sure that’s just there because Toyota is petty. The diagnostics and whatnot seem the exact same as a BMW.

Yeah, BMW could definitely work on the car. Any independent mechanic could too, with proper equipment.

Why would anyone want to service it at BMW wouldn’t it cost much more than a Toyota dealer?

Because the Toyota salespeople seem to be clueless about the car (see for example, the development of the OP's post in this thread). The logical extension is that the Toyotal servicepeople may also be just as clueless.

While it's under factory warranty, anything warranty related can't be performed at BMW dealerships.

Yeah I honestly wouldn't buy that car.. sure 100 miles who cares if the car already had 10000 miles on it.. but it's a brand new car who knows if they dragged it a quarter mile at a time 400 times at the port and that's your break in for your new car...

I had worse though.. when I was shopping for my lexus is350 f sport, the slime ball dealer brought out a loaner car that had 2200 miles on it with the hood ppf yellowing and tried to sell it as a new car at msrp... I literally lol'ed in their face and walked out lol and got an actually new one with 10 miles on it for 4500 off msrp from another dealer.. and that scum bag dealer later somehow found I bought a car from a competitor dealer and left me a voicemail saying that I am a scumbag for doing dirty business (huh????)

hey @Trojan1992 I'd update the first post with this info. Everyone coming newly on board reading about Toyota and Supra shouldn't be misinformed that they deliver cars at 120miles... my 2 cents..
