How to get streaming from my iPhone to work

Ok. I want to use Tidal to stream my music, but the car keeps streaming from the music apple app that the phone comes with vs the tidal app.

the Only way to stream from tidal is to open the app and play a song, then the car picks it up, but it will only tell you the song playing. You can’t scroll through your music To select a song.

is there a way to adjust this.

I am not sure if Tidal is Apple CarPlay-supported. That may be why you're having the issue. It's hard enough to get it to work consistently for Amazon Music and YouTube Music, which are supported. I try to make sure the phone is unlocked and playing when I start the car. That seems to help.
