I’m sure they look on forums and see what people want.

My money is they will have a manual option. They will get more sales that way.
Toyota read? Yes they read and then they’ll say.. No manual for you in the Soup Nazi voice.

Lol all Toyota is gonna get from this is that they can make hella $$$ if they make their car an auto for the majority of its life, then release an uber-expensive special edition with a manual. Or in Astons case, make multiple special editions lol.

I would say there is about 0% chance they don't have a manual. The people making these decisions understand their market, and they don't need to see threads like these to get that enthusiasts enjoy manuals. It's been that way ever since autos were the norm.

Does it really not have a manual? I don't know anything about GTRs. Hahahahaha that's great. If I may backpedal a bit it's possible that they assume if you want to pay that much for a car you'll want everything to be as luxurious as possible while still being fast. The Supra will probably be less than half the price of a GTR so who knows.

Do a search in the forums and you will see lots of discussion on a manual for the production car, at this point the common theme is that it will not be offered initially but may in the future, having said no-one knows for sure so anything is still possible...

I think I've seen a few manuals on GT-Rs, probably some clutchless drag-special swap.

I kinda want a DCT option too. It's more calm and easy to use, and Toyota will obviously add one for these people

And GT-R is about 3 times as much as most think the Supra will cost.
$160k for a well-equipped Premium trim, against a $55k Supra.

GT-R now, is significantly more the projected launch price of the Supra, but when it first came to market it was a bargain for the performance and never offered a manual.

DCT is highly probably....
