Can you run any of the maps on a complete stock setup? Or will that harm the car?
Btw i dont have access to 93 fuel only 91. Any idea how much hp tq i would get with stock setup on 91 fuel with jb4.?

on 91 I would only run map one. You need to go to the jb4 forum they have lists of maps and mods associated or recommended.
I am not an expert just a happy user for couple months on this platform and 3 years on a previous BMW

Once I have time to install dp and EWG I am going to jump to map 3 or 4. Then splash a little corn. Forget off top of head which map is the one that can adj on the fly to up to e30

I'll try and get some dragy times with downpipe. Debating fuel it or waiting for unlock.

After having the JB1 on my MK6 GTI and MK7 Golf R, I've been thinking about getting the JB4 for my Supra.

Since I'm in Texas, I'll be using straight 93. I also have an HKS drop-in.

I would like a bit more sound from the car as well, so my options are a resonated catback or a catted downpipe.

How much more power can be expected by running the JB4 with a catback versus a catted downpipe instead?

Considering most catted downpipes are about $1000, is it worth it compared to a catback?

I'm also looking to stay somewhat dealership/warranty friendly as the JB4 is pretty safe and can easily be removed. Also, no one really looks at a catback as a performance mod, but will second-guess if they see an aftermarket downpipe.

Your increase power is going to be in the Jb4. Noise is the by product of intake and exhaust on these engines. Which is great.

map2 93 will get you 40-50hp
Is that with the OEM DP or additional with an aftermarket DP?

OEM DP. I- and just from what i have read- the flex fuel and higher boost maps should wait on after market DP. I have a catless one i am going to put on next week i hope. then connect EWG and then dyno and decide on full custom tune....

You've got access to e85 which is easily diluted to e30-e50. That's where you unleash power.
