Installed the Dinan airbox and turbo inlet. Everything fit great. Not a huge noise difference in the limited miles I have put on it but doing a proper drive this weekend and will report back. Looks great though

i have a a91 mt too. was worried the gr strut bar wouldnt fit but from your pic , this looks great! disappointed to hear it didnt make a difference in sound =[

I put 70miles on it since that post and can hear it better now. More flutter and vacuum sounds especially with the windows open. I suspect Pedestrians around the city will be the main beneficiaries as they aren’t super loud in the cabin but turning off the fake noises with BimmerLink helps a lot too. Just the look is worth the 600$

Stock intake is good. You never need to change it. If you want turbo noises then change it. No other reason.

I drove 700miles over The Weeknd doing skyline drive and blue ridge parkway. Really got to experience the Dinan box and turbo inlet tube. While not ridiculously loud, the amount on intake and turbo sounds adds a tremendous amount of character to an otherwise fairly quiet engine. Especially without ASD it balances the exhaust sound nicely. Highly recommend, even if it doesn’t add any power
