I have a dual tomei exhaust on stock downpipe which sounds good but obviously want to spice it up. I will femto tune in the future (im post 6/20 ecu) and im torn between catted or catless. Is it really a huge difference or slight difference in sound? The MAIN reason I ask for opinions is because I know that tomei is an already loud exhaust but anyways let me hear those opinions! Catless or Catted for dual tomei!

Catted Active Autowerkes downpipe. Non-catted will burn your eyeballs out with the fumes and sound like a clapped out 350Z.

I have a tomei single with aa catted down pipe. Loud is an understatement and it does drone a bit.

I have the hks exhaust paired with ams catted and it's not too loud. A tad louder than stock on comfort mode and gets loud on sports.

If you're regularly taking it to crowded places and less ventilated areas like parking garages, I'd recommend catted. Catted paired with a valved exhaust also gives you the option to drive the car in stealth mode if the need arises.

Active Autowerke catted, AMS catted, and MAPerformance catted are the 3 options which fairly reliably don't cause CELs, if that is a concern to you.

Thanks for the suggestions so it seems like not a single person recommends catless for tomei interesting I also had another Supra tell me catless with tomei was too much and they swapped it out in like 3 days of installing catless so looks like im going with catted for my tomei thanks guys

Any catless will sound amazing w the Tomei. It will be loud but actually quiets if you donā€™t leave it in Sport mode (I do). If you donā€™t mind the CEL then there are zero performance changes like in older cars w a CEL (retarding timing and richening fueling).

Running a catless CTS dp to a Tomei single. It sounds really good, BUT drones/smells/is stupid loud anywhere above 2500 RPM-ish.

Iā€™ll let you know what I gather from mine. Iā€™ll be installing a Tomei single exit exhaust paired with an AMS catted downpipe. Iā€™m curious to hear how it sounds, since most clips on YouTube are all mostly catless set ups and sound very LOUD.

Yup catted AA Downpipe gets my vote as well, catless is really loud and smells.

We have both in stock if interested.
