Ahh, you’re one of those people. Well, bye. Better to sell it to someone more open minded anyway. All Supras are inline 6s. Just not BMW inline 6s
Agreed, I don’t view the BMW thing as a negative.Ahh, you’re one of those people. Well, bye. Better to sell it to someone more open minded anyway.
Not true. May I introduce you to the B48?All Supras are inline 6s. Just not BMW inline 6s and the carbon roof looks sick. It matches the rear spoiler perfectly but hate on haters. LOL
People stuck in time don't hear or want any of that. I'm a product of the "90's golden era of Japanese cars" but I also like progress and modernization (most of the time). Some people stay stuck in their ways. Perfect case study is this thread.Agreed, I don’t view the BMW thing as a negative.
I really think the car would have been worse in a lot of ways if it was pure Toyota.
The interior for sure would have been worse.
Given their current track record with some of the newer engines they have come out with there’s a good chance that would have been worse too.
It’s just not the 90’s anymore, and the B58 is a really good engine.
Arguably the best straight six currently in production.
I think the MKV got most of the best from both BMW and Toyota, and those that just want a great driving car will appreciate how good it is.
I also have a lot more confidence in the factory in Austria that built these than I would in a U.S. Toyota factory lol.
You do realize the car you purchased and are now trying to sell is a BMW, right?I am not a huge BMW fan
It’s an Auto trans.Pretty crucial detail I can’t find, MT or auto? Maybe interior photo.
and you are right about lack of targa top. Only real gripe I have about the mk5
Nothing wrong with that but honestly JDM is not really all it used to be.True, there are more Z4s in stock still than there are Supras.
Listen it is a great fun car, just not a true JDM car as it was co developed with BMW. It is too small for me along with the bending the head in certain ways to fit yourself in it. From my understanding Toyota and Mazda will co develop the RX7 and Supra twins. I will wait to see what they do or go up market to a Targa 4S. Anyway it is good to pass this on to someone who wants to daily drive it or is a better owner for the car.
Wait wait wait wait. HOLD UP. You mean to tell us the MK5 Supra is not made in Japan, it's made in Austria, AND... AND... it was co developed with BMW????Listen it is a great fun car, just not a true JDM car as it was co developed with BMW.
