I thought I would save my first post for something helpful to the community. I recently straight pipe my 2024 manual Supra with an Injen single 3.5" catback exhaust. I am stock and have a factory downpipe. I wanted a pure sound without "tinny" sounds or rattles. Stainless pipe that is thick walled is for me. I noticed at several rpms that there was cabin drone inside. It was not loud throughout all rpms, so I knew it was drone. I inspected underneath the car for culprits. I noticed that there was no heat sheat under the battery, so that is where I started. I put kilmat (Russian dynomat from Amazon) in the battery box and tried it....whaala! The drone between 1800-2200 under load was virtually gone! Around 1900 there is a slight drone but nothing major. Also at 3500 there was a little but totally gone. I can now here the cars pure sound with no interior rattle. I d thought I'd share my findings. I hope someone will get benefit out of this. Thank you for reading and God Bless! Chris

God bless you Chris and may she be with you, when you swap that downpipe and realize the noise isn’t muffled, it’s the pool of blood in your ears from drone.

Nice first post. That’s some effort to cover every square inch of the battery compartment. I’m sure it does help with vibration. I might do the same since I have left over Dynamat.
