Now's the time! I highly recommend David Shoup if you go that route, he's great with MHD+, explains everything gets great results and reliability.

I was speaking to another MT owner this AM who's doing a KLM top mount 6870 next gen build, his Instagram name is sam1el. He went the BM3 - MAXXecu route with Sameh though. I prefer MHD+ and think it's more capable, alot of tuners i've been speaking to also think the same, but if you want to go with BM3, this is another option that works.

It's funny you mention David, I was in my friends single turbo built motor N54 335 in Toronto last week. David tuned that thing haha.

I really just want a more power with maps, and no lift shifting.

He's popular with those N54 guys, if ever there was an engine that needed a reliable tune, it's that one.

What's done to your car currently?

Depends for what.

Dyno - Ace tuning at ICAR

Build/suspension/transmission/advanced custom work - I have a mechanic who was a BMW master tech, now he primarily does B58/S58 builds along with 2JZ builds. From complete build/rebuild to turbo install. He's done cars that range from 600whp to 1200whp. His work is really impressive, especially the custom lines and wiring he did for me and he's also very well priced.

For maintenance/alignment/Ethanol fill up - Elite autoglass in Dorval. They have atleast 50 - 100 B58 and S58 customers that they do regular maintenance on. The owner owns 2 modified S58 cars and a modified B58.

At the moment i'm running 700 whp on upgraded DI, turbo, clutch/flywheel etc etc. Car feels great and the transmission is doing fine.
Cool numbers, Do you have a dyno video?

Other than the short shifter I had made for it and a CDV delete, it's bone stock.

Hence why the crackhead itch is getting annoying.

I have an AWE Track exhaust laying around and was going to get a Kenji Catless DP but everyone said they run terrible catless unless you have a custom piggyback tune...

I ran mine catless for a while and it was fine if you don't mind the CEL, I prefer the MAD/DAW/MRM design over the Kenji for future compatibility with an upraded turbo if you might do that one day. I chose a valved catback for 2 reasons,

#1 cops in the area would be all over me if I wasn't able to quite it down when they see me.
#2 I like the OEM+ sleeper look, from the outside my car looks and sounds completely stock other than tires and ride height.

Does the clutchmasters fx1000 really drive that nice? That clutch design is something im familiar with on other platforms and i hated them. The best high torque clutch ive ever used is a McLeod RXT/RXT1200.

I was going to tune with David Shoup on my MT. His partner Sabastain told me to Stay on OTS maps on my stock turbo car since there’s no gain with out larger HPFP

Generally speaking pro tunes on stock turbo have marginal gains vs ots maps. The question is if the extra 1-2 mph is worth hundreds of dollars.
