Its just a fake panel they attached to the surface of the door. Look at where the weather strip is at. Nothing inwards will have any vents. Also there are no vents on the wheel arch.

Edit: No, do you how hard it would be to stamp that whole door out of steel? It would be more cost effective to just put that fake panel on top of the door.
I wasn’t talking about the door being two pieces. The vent panel on the door is two pieces. The big vent panel itself then the blocking panel on the back of it

I'm pretty sure that's the fake panel that we have all been debating about.

Would be so crazy if Toyota shocked us all with active aero side wings like a Murcielago. Hey, anything is possible at this point...

I kind of get what you are saying, its hard to tell without seeing in person. Than again, there still isn't any vents or holes on the wheel arch itself. We'll just have to wait and see to know for sure, but my gut feeling is that it's non functional.

I love the looks of the LC....what a shame the MKV Supra couldn't share platform with that car....what a damn shame. The LC looks sooo much like a modern Supra, it's unreal. The shape and the side vents have Supra written all over it.
I was just thinking, how long until someone tries to make a FT1 replica with a salvage LC.

Reposting from my post in February.... I do hope the scoop from the FT1 makes it in, looks like it could be hiding under there.

4200lbs is with all the Lexus goodies....the chasis is way under that. Add Toyota “cheaper” interior and it would easily be in the mid 3000lb range.

I like big rear ends and I cannot lie.
Well I think I've been duped by Toyota. No way in hell that GR "prototype" runs LMGTE. I must be missing something as I'm not familiar with the rules regarding "new production models" Can someone help me?

The lower rear bumper has a pace light... Will that be like a rear fog?

I don't know, the weight differences between the Z30 and A80 was like what? 200-400 lbs depending on trim level and tranny option. At best I would think it would have been around the RCF's weight of 3,800lbs. I also believe A70TTR already address the use of the GA-L platform. One was cost, but the other was the weight.
