Damn, the FT-1 is so sexy! What a great looking car! Everything about it, the color, the size, the wheels, etc... My favorite things about the FT-1 that I hope the production car will have are:

- Mirrors
- Retractable spoiler
- Gas filler lid on the rear pillar
- Carbon brace going into the center of the car
- Big side vents (functional)

Camo on the mirrors doesn't mean squat. The LC prototype had RC mirrors with camo wrapped on them. ;)

You all think you see a Supra with some Z4 parts. But the truth is: You see a Z4 CoupƩ that will come with a Supra Badge :D

Do the different set of wheels indicate different trim levels?
I donā€™t think so. I think itā€™s all the same car and they just took the wheels that have been available at the BMW warehouse.

We don't know for sure if the side vents are functional yet, but the fact that they are exposed now is a pretty good sign.

Maybe not on the base model, but it would be nice to see some of these features on the GRMN version.

^Looks fake to me.
But if you look at where the vent should be on the door there is a panel blocking it off that doesnā€™t connect to the door skin. If itā€™s not functional wouldnā€™t they have molded it all once piece instead of two

They should leave it out then....seriously, there is no place for fake scoops or vents on a Supra. If they make the side vents like the MKIV's brake coolers, then that would be great....or if the side vents end up being bigger and functional, that would be a very welcomed addition. Fake vents....not on a Supra.

I love the looks of the LC....what a shame the MKV Supra couldn't share platform with that car....what a damn shame. The LC looks sooo much like a modern Supra, it's unreal. The shape and the side vents have Supra written all over it.

Its just a fake panel they attached to the surface of the door. Look at where the weather strip is at. Nothing inwards will have any vents. Also there are no vents on the wheel arch.

Edit: No, do you how hard it would be to stamp that whole door out of steel? It would be more cost effective to just put that fake panel on top of the door.

Here is a better look at the door piece.

What are these panel separation lines on the doors for? They seem to run low and then incline up on the side vents. Could these be coverup panels for either bigger real vents or covering smaller real vents?

I'm pretty sure that's the fake panel that we have all been debating about.
