Not sure if this is already a known bug, so ignore if this is on the list of bugs to address. But maybe 25% of the time AA won't load (stuck on connecting) when I start it for the first time (eg. get in car, start, let phone connect). It always works after a 'restart' of AA on the headunit. Phone side says it's connected to car so feels like it's on the headunit side. Can grab logs if this isn't known.

Yeah please send the logs over in DMs if you can. It might be that the renderer service isn't coming up immediately. It's on a 60~ second wait timer if it's not up when AA is started.

ID7 and beyond is React?

Now I am suddenly interested. I have too many projects going on already but i've always looked at the idrive 8 in my m240i as potential world of possibilities.

Believe so have fun experimenting. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
