IMO if you got $2500-$3500 for it you'd be doing good...of coarse from the pics we can't see how bad the rust is..
Plus it an auto...and non turbo?

Definitely need to find someone looking for a project...

That gen Supra really hasn't caught on as a classic (yet)...unless it's a super clean low mileage example...
Unfortunately you don't have that...

Good luck on selling it...

Steve

I've owned 3 MK3s and watch the market fairly closely. Prices are starting to go nuts on the later models with turbos and targas.

Pretty much everything else is still reasonable, though I've seen people asking for $5-$6k for similar state NA lately here in Georgia. Personally I think thats nuts. Running and cleaned up maybe $5K in the current market, but as it currently sits I'd agree $2500-$3500 would be reasonable.

These days I'd list at $4-$5k cause the used car world is stupid and you've got some parts on that like the side mouldings that are often difficult to find and expensive when you do. The parts markets on these (and the same era mr2s like I am currently rebuilding) are also going crazy. Then see what kind of responses you get. Maybe you'll find someone that really wants one that can't drive a stick?

Post a pic of the back and the engine bay and I could be a bit more accurate.

Or be a gentleman and sell it to someone with a dream of rebuilding it who you know will do her right for $2k.

(not trying to imply selling for what you can get makes you less of a gentleman)

Agreed. You may be suprised on how easily it can be made to run again. I'd recommend spending a lilttle time trying to get it to run so the asking price can go a bit higher.

My avatar pic is my old MKIII now owned by my son-in-law. He is currently restoring it to its former glory. As someone mentioned above, the exterior trim pieces are a bitch to find.

Good luck with the sale!

A pre89 NA auto...It's worth whatever the local scrap yard will pay him.
Um, no. Most scrap yards in the Mid-Atlantic area will pay roughly $210 per ton (roughly $0.11 per pound) for a complete car. Curb weight of a MKIII with auto is roughly 3790 pounds. That's roughly $390 for the entire car. If the individual wanted to, it could be parted out for far more than that.

I would list it at $1999 and take the best offer over $1k. and that is being generous not being able to see the car.
