I'm not exactly sure. I can find out. I guess tuners on this Forum would be better able to answer that.

Received Ecutek, AMS DP was back ordered, should be here next week. Starting to get excited. I need to find a good supply of ethanol around here ASAP!

UPDATE....

Stage 1 tuned on Ecutek, waiting on DP to get here for Stage 2 tune. Car feels great, pulls harder but OEM feeling still which is exactly what I wanted. I dont know why I waited this long to do this.

Does anyone know of any aftermarket turbos that bolts up to the factory location with little additional modification aside from the pure upgrade? I heard the boost logic kit is good but Iā€™m not too sure about it. Most aftermarket turbos Iā€™ve seen also require things like boost controllers, bovs, and ewgs and whatnot (correct me if Iā€™m wrong). Iā€™m debating whether to go with a pure or an aftermarket turbo and then wait for when more options come out for full flex fuel then add that as well. My final goals for the build is low 500whp on 91 pump and high 500/ low 600whp on E85 once thereā€™s an actual full flex fuel kit for these cars.

ApanoMKV,

There a number of companies that do offer an upgraded stock turbo as well as a number of other companies that have their complete turbo kits, utilizing either a Borg Warner, a Garret or a Precision Turbocharger.

It all depends on your hp goal and use of the car. Below is list of what i have found for stock upgraded turbos as well as turbo kits (sorted alphabetically)

Stock upgraded Turbo Options:

* Drift Motion (Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3)
* Precision Turbo (Not Yet Released)
* Pure Turbos (Pure800)
* The Turbo Engineers (TTE6XX)
* Vargas Turbo (GC Stock, GC+ Stock)

Turbo Kit Options:

* Boost Logic Turbo Kit (Multiple Garret or Precision turbocharger options)
* Doc Race Turbo Kit (BorgWarner EFR7670, EFR8374, EFR8474, EFR9174, EFR9180, EFR9280)
* ETS Turbo Kit (No Turbo, Precision PTE 6466 or PTE 6870)
* Full Race Turbo Kit (Less turbocharger/ recommended turbochargers BW EFR 8474, EFR 9274, EFR 9280)
* P2uned Turbo Kit (Garrett G30-770, G30-900)

Note: Always ask a reputable tuner and members on this forum for their personal feedback as well.

Downpipe is in!! Install time was probably about 20 mins so very easy upgrade..

I feel really stupid for waiting almost a whole year to do this. The car sounds like what it should of sounded OEM, it definitely pulls much harder. I havent had the tuner load stage 2 map yet after the downpipe but once they do that, it will pick up some more power.
