I want some green calipers. I’ll be your test victim if you do them for free. You know, to help show what you can do for Supra owners….
like this green or darker?

So you're happy to let some random guy out of the blue on an internet forum rebuild your callipers for you if you get a pretty colour for free? No disrespect to the OP but it's brakes we are talking about here and who is he? A guy that works in a powder coating factory?

Phil
Totally l understand your point. Brakes are very important. But honestly they’re not that difficult in the end. I’ve done a ton of Evo brakes, that doesn’t make me an expert by no means, I am a small business and have my LLC and insurance.

I never said anything about him rebuilding them? As with any powder coater that I would use, I would completely disassemble the caliper myself and send them just the parts that need coating. Then it’s on me if they fail after putting them back together.
Most people choose not to take them apart and send them to me. Calipers are one of the items a powder coated either does a bunch of, or chooses to stay away from.

Nice car OP, congrats.

My calipers on my 2020 A90 looks fine.. I don't drive my car much as she's more my garage queen. You know, I was really never into bling on calipers.. both my STI and Golf-R came with black factory BBK's.. and never thought about changing the color... it looks cool stealth mode under my BBS wheels.

I get that 100%. Most people don’t know how to take them apart. No hate towards you, just how I prefer to do things.

For sure man, I do as well. No offense taken. They are pretty simple. The issue is getting any of the Brembo torque values or any break down is a pain. I did find the bolt torque settings for the evo calipers. Which surprisingly are not real high. But they require locktite regardless. I just got a set of Supra calipers to inspect and play with. I am somewhat disappointed with the rear calipers on the Supra, kind of cheaped out on us.

I have plans to get my calipers powder coated in the nearish future. I know there's some places local to me, but I haven't looked into their work yet, so I'm interested.
