These are the woofers you need instead. Lol

Using the stock enclosures in any capacity, you will not be happy w them

Sorry for the lack of updates. I'm currently working on another project and this is next on the list of things to do.
The woofers did come with connectors.
Here's what I'll be experimenting. I'm going to stuff the enclosure with poly fill and OEM woofers and see how the sound changes for me.
Then I will make a sealed enclosure for for the OEM woofers and see how that turns out. Then moving on to porting the custom enclosure.
Next, I will be dropping in the Integral woofers and repeat the process above.
Since the music I listen to consists of a lot of bass i.e. dubstep, I want to see what each modification does to bass.
I installed the mobridge amp but I still need to properly tune it via the DSP software.
I'll keep you all updated. Just need to finish my current project.

You definitely wanna deaden everything. Check out resonix sound solutions. Definitely the best you can buy.

Should've just bought a Lexus instead. Lol. Jk.

This looks awesome! Nice job! I did this too, just not as neat or extensive, along with the port mod. Much better.

However, what DID improve things was the Alpha One Lightwave amp from Bimmer-tech. Not the cheapest solution, but definitely very easy, plug-n-play and designed for our JBL system and tuned for the Supra's interior acoustics.

Now I'm just waiting for the OP's @Limoncello update on those Integral Audio woofers since they could probably handle the amp's increased bass better than the stock subs.

I'm hoping to get to the woofers this weekend.

I wrote to Bimmer-tech regarding using the Alpha One Lightwave amp with the Integral Audio woofers and here is their reply:

"I can't comment too much on the integral woofers as I have no experience with them. I would expect them to be technically better than OEM. I don't see power handling specs but I would assume they have a higher power handling than OEM and given the fact that they can be wired up into 2 Ohms - we would be able to push way more power to them than we can to the OEM 8Ohm units. In fact - you would surely need to knock down the output gain on our amp for the woofer channels significantly as they would be hella louder than OEM right after installation. Unpleasantly loud."

Do you have a closer picture of the surface where the subwoofer enclosure used to be? I was debating on doing something like that for additional carrying capacity for track days, was hoping that there wouldn't be a bunch of random studs or brackets poking out
