Oil getting in the spark plugs?

Upon doing a regular maintenance check on the engine I decided to check the spark plugs, after taking it out it looks like some oil are getting in . It’s so dirty as you can see from the paper towel. Does anyone have an input?

Out of curiosity, did you look in the spark plug wells to see if it was leaking above the plug, I.E. the valve cover gasket?

I replaced some plugs on my old M3 and thought they were coming from the inside of the spark plug, turns out it was dropping down the plug when I pulled it out.

Another idea is that your tune might be running too rich. Not sure about that one though.

I took a q-tip and swabbed the around the well where the spark plugs go in and i get a dirty swab. So I cleaned it and put a new one in. I’ll check again in few hundred miles.

Wow! Second set of plugs on a 2020 seems a bit extreme! Did you torque them down properly?

Yup I drive it pretty extreme. Torque them down 17 ft•lb.
