Here is a little install guide for our opem hood vents.

1. Place the vent in with the side first that has the plastic tabs (not the clips).

2. Pull on the vent in the direction you see on the photo to make sure the tabs are closely lining up with the side of the hole.

3. While you are still pulling on the vent from the previous step, gently press down on the other side of the vent to clip the clips in, in the 3 positions. First in the middle, then the sides.

Is there any other way really? I mean, you're kinda fighting physics if you don't take advantage of the ease of bending the concave side in to seat the three tabs..

There’s no other way to do it, but it might not be as straight forward for everyone

Looking to order a set of gloss black bonnect vents when back in stock, but undecided whether I should go with matt or gloss for front bumper. Matt more in keeping with the rest of the front bumper plastics?

Yes, our matte black vents give a more factory/oem look because the front lip, side skirts, and rear diffuser is also matte. In the photo you replied to was the matte black color.
