So I decided to wring out my Comp on the way home from work tonight, and yeah I'm keeping it. I hadn't driven hard in awhile and was reminded of the brutal acceleration. Man it's quick even stock.

I also didn't mean to offend anyone here so I apologize if I came off as an asshat. I'll be better I promise!

Brutal?
You should stick with the older M2, the Supra would be too much for you then. Good luck

I have kind of been wanting to buy a 2024 MT Supra, but I think I must be losing my mind.

I have a 2021 M2 Competition that is fully paid off with only 19K miles and full Xpel PPF.

Please convince to either keep my car or get rid of it for a Supra. Hell, I've never even driven a new Supra.
Man do we really gotta troll people on every thread?? ?

Actual answer - Its a sideways jump at best. I freakin love the M2 Comp. The best M car I have ever driven (and I have driven nearly all of them). Just doesn't seem worth it unless you just prefer the B58 or Supra's looks, or you gotta have the MT - it is better than any BMW shifter.

Drive one and you'll see what I mean.

Id agree it's probably the best MODERN M car , but it's not even close to being the BEST M car.
Your EPS rack is about as sensitive and gives as much feedback and feel as my fanatec race wheel on Forza.

Drive an older M car with an NA engine and hydraulic steering and you'll want to throw that M2 away

The E39 M5 is the best M car , and it's not even close

Yep I should clarify that I have only driven all the S55/S58/S63 cars ? I agree that EPS has killed steering feel for most modern cars.

come over to my house this weekend and you can drive my car. Bet it will change your mind. I get to drive your car though haha.

If your profile location is right, I’m like 20-30 min from you.
You know I just might take you up on that offer. I'll check my schedule and shoot you a PM if I get a minute! I also have a YouTube channel (that kind of sucks, but I'm trying) and I have been itching to review the new Supra for content.

Thanks for the offer, and yes, if something works out, you are more than welcome to drive my Comp.

It's brutal to me, but then again I haven't much experience with super fast cars. The only other car that I have driven that was faster was my Dad's 2019 MB GTC.

We can debate the merits of the E46 CSL , but it never came to the USA.
Yes it's a very good car, but it had many flaws, but I can't argue with the S54 being one of, if not BMWs best inline 6 engines

My offer is serious so if you are down, let me know! Only downside is that my car is far from stock so wont be a great comparison if you were looking for stock vs stock.

I'll let you know for sure! This weekend is Father's Day so it won't work. But I'll send you a PM when I get a free time and date!

And thanks again so much for the offer! My car is stock. What mods do you have?

Thats all that matters in driving and being an enthusiast for cars. What you feel and want. Not what the rest of the world here thinks. Enjoy the test and I hope you sort what works for you with Supra vs your M2. Ignore idiotic bias you see here. The absolutists in the 'enthusiast' world are beyond wrong when it comes to what is right for you and the car you want and drive. Life is short, so enjoy the opportunity to drive and experience different vehicles.
